ABOUT: In this presentation Dr. Michael Arbitblit will walk you through the multiple components that go into writing a business plan, a business pitch presentation, being a leader, and other aspects of managing a business. He will share his experiences of business management, leadership, and entrepreneurship through the lens of the entertainment industry, education, and more.
BIOGRAPHY: Dr. Michael Arbitblit is the Transfer Enrollment Analyst and Manager of the Transfer Resource Center for New Jersey City University. He was the recipient of NJCU’s first ever doctoral fellowship, the L.M. Krieger Fair Dealing and Justice Fellowship, for his research on conflict resolution. In addition to this, Michael has worked as the liaison for the Academic Issues Committee for the State of New Jersey, and has over 7 years of experience teaching business and mediation at NJCU and Rutgers University. Outside of academics, Michael has played a key role in small business development and has been a part of entrepreneurial initiatives within the hospitality and entertainment industries.
Michael graduated with his doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University where he also received an M.B.A. in Organizational Management and Leadership, as well as a bachelor’s in Business Management.
