Preserving Music History is a Race Against Time: Using 21st Century Innovation in Audio Restoration

Kelly Pribble, veteran studio engineer, studio builder, archivist, and inventor.  Currently holds the title, Director of Media Recovery Technology at Iron Mountain Entertainment Services (IMES).  He works to develop new ways to restore media assets that exist on formats that overtime have a begun to show potentially irrecoverable signs of aging. And this session, Mr. Pribble speaks to his many years of experience, and the innovative ways he blends technology and industry to preserve history for future generations.  Mr.  Pribble was issued a Patent for Media Recovery Technology in March of 2022.  With a career spanning over three decades, he has worked extensively in Nashville, London, New York City, and Rio de Janeiro.
