Most often we focus on the software and instructional design side of Distance Learning. This meeting will be devoted to the creation of effective physical learning environments. It will involve a visit to a georgeous showroom and a deeper look into the equipment side of our profession and how these elements are key to enhancing the overall educational experience. Experience technology driven methods such as a video conferencing rooms, anti-glare lighting, laptop garages, unique multi-purpose collaboration tables, and more, all designed to create an optimum learning atmosphere while simultaneously impacting the environment in a positive way. Distance Learning State-of-the-Art
Get a closer look at the recent developments from the equipment side of Distance Learning via a video conference using state-of the art technology and featuring Marci Powell, Polycom's Global Director for Education & Corporate Training. This will then be followed by a review of the design, planning, and integration stages that are necessary to create an effective learning environment by Bob Lobascio, IMS Audio Visual's VP of Sales & Marketing.
