Capella University was this year's winner of "Best Use of Data" Award. This webinar will showcase why. Jenny Taber, Project Manager of Academic Initiatives, will focus on scaling a technology roll-out using evidence-based decision making. She will talk about their study methodology, which included behavioral and survey-based qualitative and quantitative data from students and instructors. She will also present some of their findings from those studies, which informed their course design and drove better student and professor outcomes. Their data demonstrate impressive increases in course-based success and re-enrollment in future semesters along with improvements in student and instructor satisfaction. As will be shown, those outcomes are generated in lock-step with iterative testing of pedagogical changes and increasingly refined instructor communication and training.
