Dr. Douglas J. Koch and the rest of the Board of Directors of the NorthEast Digital Learning Association (NEDLA formerly PADLA) is pleased to announce that Dr. Laura Dowling will be assuming the role of Executive Director effectively. In this role, Dr. Dowling will take a leadership role and work closely with the board to increase membership, align NEDLAs vision, mission, and goals, support marketing and communication efforts, and support programming. She will work closely with Mr. Louis Stricoff, our former Executive Director and current Board Member Emeritus on these efforts and draw from his decades of experience in these areas. The board is excited to have her on the board, as we believe her vast experience will complement the organization as it moves into its third decade.
Dr. Laura Dowling is an author, Club House Co-host, keynote speaker, yogi, and scholar specializing in leadership, education, information technology selection and implementation, and health care administration. She has 25-years of corporate experience in highly regulated industries, building and leading teams to exceed financial and operational expectations. She holds an MBA in Technology Management and multiple technical, counseling, and soft skills certifications.
Dr. Dowling has 10-years of non-profit board of directors’ leadership experience and 15 years of experience in innovative curriculum and course design and teaching in Higher Education. An experienced consultant, coach, mentor, and business advisor, Laura combines theoretical and practical knowledge with information technology to enhance hard and soft skill development, equipping individuals and organizations in successfully navigating complex business dynamics in the rapidly changing world of work. Laura has recruited, hired, managed, educated, coached, and mentored hundreds of employees and students over the years. Her customized approaches enhance individual, team, and organizational capacity to improve performance.
